This year’s theme
for Earth Day is Green Cities. Earth Day Network is drawing attention to making
cities more sustainable by focusing on sustainable energy, green buildings, and
transportation. The campaign’s goals are to educate the public about these issues,
and to help the public get involved in making their cities more sustainable.

Exhibitions and activities during 2002, related with the
Museum of Contemporary Art in Bogotá (MAC)
in celebration of the Earth Day, and another as a result organized by the
Governorship of Boyacá

several kids created a petition to the
Colombian Government to be
MANDATORY AT
SCHOOLS THE RECYCLING SUBJECT
IN THE OFICIAL ACADEMIC YEAR AT THE COLOMBIAN
SCHOOLS
That is been divulged all over
collecting signatures to support that
petition.
